About Dr. Sarah
Sarah graduated from Nipissing University with an honours degree in biology after completing her thesis on genetics and immune system function. With a passion for helping people and wanting to pursue a career in health care, Sarah completed her studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto and is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario.
With her own health issues unsolved by medical doctors and specialists, Sarah turned to her education and training to help solve many of the ailments she had carried for years, including IBS, asthma, eczema, endometriosis, and other autoimmune conditions.
Her working background includes over a decade in pharmacy, and experience as birth doula in the Greater Toronto Area. Sarah is the author of the book It Takes Two... and a Uterus and she has previously written for The NaturalPath, Naturopathic News and Review (NDNR), Naturopathic Currents, and Eco Parent Magazine online. She is currently a medical advisor for Nestle Health Sciences, and has previously done writing and educational work for Advanced Orthomolecular Research (AOR), Biosyent, and Bird&Be.
In addition to her love of books and writing, Sarah loves running, especially throughout the GTA's forest trails. She is also the mother of a small human, and two golden doodles.
Sarah is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), and the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS). She is currently practicing at Conceive Health, an integrated healthcare model.
